Peter Harding for England
AFC Brooklands and Pro-Direct Soccer Academy player Peter Harding had a trial yesterday at the CFC training ground and was successful in his first attempt. Therefore he is now part of the Chelsea Foundation FC Cerebral Palsy Centre of Excellence (South East Region).
He really shone (thanks to Pro Direct Academy) and his confidence was given a massive boost as he was playing amongst players with similar disabilities.
Peter will now visit St George’s Park on 27th October where he will be assessed by the England Physio so that they can categorise his disability and then play in a tournament.
Peter is looking like he’d swallowed a coat hanger with a smile on his face that now appears to be a permanent fixture.
Dad Stephen commented “It was also funny seeing a Fulham fan in a Chelsea kit”
Next stop England…
Congratulations Peter from all at AFC Brooklands
